Release of the third album "WORLD WIDE REGGAE"
by NO FORMAT/UNIVERSAL JAZZ on the 15th January.

Opening concert for the WORLD WIDE REGGAE TOUR on the 24th of january
at the New Morning, Paris.

2006

The year 2006 is mainly dedicated to the production and promotion of
"WORLD WIDE REGGAE". This third album by Faya Dub signed under the dazzling label NO FORMAT/UNIVERSAL JAZZ will be release on january 15th.

Following the real sucess of their first and double album (100% Dub)
" IRIE FEELING" ( 30 instrumental titles), Faya Dub is proposing us today
"SINGS & PLAYS", a "compilation" album on which they invited multiple singers, one as talented as the other, to write powerful lyrics in harmony with their riddims. It's an opus where the spirit of the music meets the spirit of the words.

In the whole, "Sings & Plays" gives some good parts to the roots singers, but also unites Soul, Blues, Hip-Hop or Afro-Caraibean artists on this exceptional project.By combining and mixing engaged and original riddims, Faya Dub raises the musical level very high. Faya Dub wishes to share with all listerners the enthousiasm that caracterizes the band, since their creation in late 1998, through concerts within France and more and more in other parts of the world. They offer us the cherry on the pie with the live version of "Rico'street" recorded at the Cithea, Paris.
